August 6: First Friday - Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight - Enjoy an old-fashioned street dance, root beer floats, horse rides & great deals from downtown Chelan. Share popcorn as you watch an outdoor movie on a huge screen on Woodin Avenue! 6-8 pm
August 6: Kids Art in the Park - Kids 6-12 create their own personalixzed puzzles. 1-3 pm at Riverwalk Park.
August 7: Touching Tiny Lives Benefit Concert at Benson Winery - The Kevin Jones Band will perform at this spectacular event put on by the group Chelan to Africa. All proceeds go to the Toughing Tiny Lives Foundation, an organization helping rural children in Lesotho. Tickets $20. 7 pm (gates open at 6 pm)
August 7-8: Acrylic Painting Workshop with Tracy Kay Fraker - Enjoy the process and create color harmony in your paintings. Chelan Fire Station 11 am - 4 pm
August 14-15: Slam-N-Jam 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament - The Lake Chelan Recreation Association welcomes you to the 17th annual Slam 'N Jam at Don Morse Park.
August 19: Watercolor in the Park with Renee Healy - Multimedia, small brushes and drips of water carry pigment into a stunning topic. Riverwalk Park 10 am - 4 pm
August 20-22: Chelan Fine Arts Festival - Artists will display and sell original works of art. There will be a juried art show, food and entertainment. Riverwalk Park.
August 21: Ballroom Dance at Tunnel Hill Winery - Dance Lake Chelan instructor Roslyn Bradley offers free lessons as 7 pm, followed by dancing from 8-10 pm. All ages. Free.
August 21: Chelan Rotary Salmon BBQ - Support Rotary's youth program by enjoying a scrumptious BBQ salmon full meal deal!
August 21: St. Andrews Annual Pie Social - Homemade pies by the slice or shole. Nice follow up to the BBQ - Yum!
