Calendar of Events for the Chelan area
April 2: First Friday: Shakespeare in Spring - A precursor to the April 7th event below, enjoy music and art of the Elizabethan Period. Feel free to dress the part. This is much ado about something special for our kids! 6-8 pm
April 3: Easter Egg Hunts - Easter egg hunts are set for Chelan and Manson. The Manson event is first, starting at 10 a.m. This event is sponsored by the Manson Grange, which is where it will be held. The Chelan event starts at noon at Don Morse Park and is sponsored by the Chelan Eagles and the Lions Club.
April 7: Seattle Shakespeare Company Presents Romeo & Juliet - To be (there) or not to be (there) - absolutely no question! (Sorry Will.) What a wonderful opportunity for us all. A performance will be held mid-day for our kids. The evening performance is a fundraiser to help defray the costs of bringing such great talent to our town. Chelan High School Performing Arts Center, 7 pm.
April 10 and 24: Karaoke at My Buddy's Place - Turns out there are a lot of good singers around this Valley, so come out to My Buddy's Place in downtown Manson to enjoy the talent ... and to join in!
April 16-18: Lake Chelan Blues & Dance Festival - A three-day festival held in various venues in downtown chelan. Four venues, 12 bands, dance lessons and more. Come and enjoy fun in the sun!
April 16-18: Red Hatters: Roaring 20's Weekend - Two hundred Red Hatters are set to enjoy events that include a Charleston contest, Lady of the Lake cruise, sidewalk parade and much more.
April 17: Chelan Earth Day Fair - Come to the fair, where there will be lots of arts and crafts and a flea market. Educational booths will provide information on recycling, composting, renewable energy ideas, and more. Fun children's activities, too. Lots of educational fun for everyone at Riverwalk Park.
April 17-18 and 24-25: Chelan Noveau: Spring Wine Release: Celebrate the Lake Chelan Wine Valley's newly-released white and rose wines! The many boutique wineries in the Chelan Velley will participate with the spotlight on vibrant young, never-before-offered releases. Try something new!
Every Friday & Saturday Night: Live Music at The Vogue: A Liquid Lounge - No cover charge, all ages welcome. 8-10 pm
Every 1st Tuesday: Book Club at Riverwalk Books - Join the book club at Riverwalk Books on Woodin Avenue in downtown Chelan. 10 am.
